Preparing the baby carrier
Leg bar adjustment with buttons
For an optimal squatting position, the width of the bridge can be adjusted in 4 levels to the length of your baby's legs. Adjust the bridge so wide that it reaches from the back of your child's knee to the back of his knee.
Please note: The months given are a guideline. This information may vary from baby to baby.
From birth
Set the bridge to the lowest level by folding down the padded leg openings and attaching them to the top buttons.
From approx. 4 months
If you notice that the bridge is set too narrow, you can use the third buttons from the outside from around 4 months. Now you no longer have to fold down the leg openings.
From approx. 8 months
If you notice that the bar is set too narrow, you can use the next level from around 8 months.
From approx. 12 months
Now you can use the widest setting if your child is older.
Measure the bridge width
We'll show you how to measure the width of the bridge.

Instructions Halfbuckle Baby Carrier Front
The halfbuckle baby carrier grows with your baby. This means that settings on the baby carrier need to be changed over time.
When putting on the hip belt, make sure that the carrier is overall centered (i.e. not shifted to the right/left) and rather a little too high so it's too low.
You should be able to kiss your baby on the head. The buckle in the back bothers you? No problem, you can also push it to the side before putting it on and close it there.
You want your baby to be able to look forward? Please wait until it can hold its head up on its own and then carry it on its back. It should never be carried in the front of the carrier facing forward.
Why not? Since it can be harmful to your child's hips. The back cannot round and the squatting, spread position cannot be achieved. In addition, the baby may suffer from sensory overload because he cannot turn his head away. But you can carry it on your back as soon as it can sit up on its own.
Step1
Hold the baby carrier facing you and overhead in front of you. Fold down the hip belt. Place the hip belt at the waist. Depending on the size of the child: further up or down.
Step2
Close the hip belt using the buckle and tighten it.
Step3
Place your child in the carrier over the hip belt with their stomach facing you. So that your bodies touch each other. Pay attention to the correct squatting position. The legs should be squatted at least at a right angle. This means that your knees must be higher than your bottom and not hang straight down
Step 4
Fold up the front of the stretcher. Always keep one hand on the child. Place the first shoulder strand over your shoulder.
Step5
Pull the shoulder strands back towards you in a criss-cross pattern. Pass it under your baby's feet and hold it in front.
Step 6
Repeat step 5 with the other side.
Step7
Now you hold both shoulder strands in your hands. Let your baby slide further into the carrier before tying the knot.
Step8
You can either tie the knot at the front or bring the strands back and close them with a knot.
Step9
If your baby sits at head-kissing height? Perfect!
