Difference between baby carrier and toddler carrier
You often ask us what the difference is between the baby carrier and the toddler carrier, so we would like to answer this question here.
The basic differences are as follows;
Leg bridge:
The leg bar on the baby carrier can be adjusted and therefore also fits newborns. The toddler carrier can no longer be adjusted at the leg bar, as this is no longer necessary from around 18 months of age.
Back part:
The back section is longer and wider and therefore more suitable for larger babies/toddlers
Hip belt:
The hip belt on the toddler carrier is made of sturdy EVA material. This is similar to yoga mats or foam rubber and offers better support when the baby is heavier.
Age/Weight:
We recommend our baby carrier from 3 kg to 15 kg (the age of the babies varies, so we prefer to state the weight here)
We recommend our toddler carrier from 10 kg to 20 kg.
