This is how you carry your baby in summer!

Finally the sun is shining and you can be outside with your baby or toddler. Very practical and stylish in the baby sling from sandiia. We have a few tips ready to make wearing a scarf more comfortable in summer.

1. Natural materials

Since our Sandiia slings are made of pure cotton or organic cotton, they have excellent ventilation, elasticity and stability. Perfect for temperatures above 26 ° C.

2. Less is more

Since you are wearing additional panels of fabric on your body with the sling, the rest of your clothing should be comfortable, short and breathable. And that's how you dress your child. The best fabrics in hot weather are cotton and linen. Avoid thick and multi-layered clothing and synthetic fibers such as polyester or acrylic.

3. Water March

Never forget to take a water bottle with you. For you and for your child. If you are still breastfeeding, breastfeed your baby more often so that it takes in enough fluids. Accordingly, you have to replenish your reserves.

4. Use sun protection

If possible, avoid direct contact with the sun and times when the sun is at its highest. Better to walk in the shade and stay there. Put a hat on your baby in the sling. It is best to have one with a ribbon so that it does not come off your head. The legs and arms must also be protected from direct sunlight.

5. Skin to skin - better not

Avoid direct skin contact if possible. Put your child in a thin body or use a thin cloth between you and your baby to prevent direct heat transfer.

6. Nice to carry on the back

If your child is a bit older, you can ideally carry it on your back. For this you can use e.g. the binding "wrap cross-back carrier". Carrying it on your back is more comfortable and doesn't make you sweat so quickly.

We hope that you will experience an unforgettable summer with your child! Share your experiences and pictures from your summer with the Sandiia towels. We look forward to your feedback!
